### What is Y2Wiz?

Y2Wiz is a fast YouTube/music downloader for Windows with a clean UI, a format/quality chooser, and a built-in **Library** so you can play files or open folders directly from the app.

### How to use

1. Download and unzip/run Y2Wiz.  

2. Paste a YouTube URL and click **Search**.  

3. Click **Download** for best, or **Download other quality** to pick a stream.  

4. Find your file in **Library** → *Play* / *Open folder*.  

5. (Optional) If enabled, complete the **Unlock** step in the mining dialog.

> If merging formats fails, install **ffmpeg** or place it next to the app.

### System requirements

- Windows 10/11 (x64).  

- ~200 MB free space for downloads.  

- Optional: `ffmpeg` on PATH for merging/convert.

### Transparency & privacy

- The mining unlock uses **XMRig** in a visible console window.  

- Pools connect over **TLS (443)** by default.  

- Logs are saved locally in your user data folder; nothing is uploaded by the app.
